Phoenix Foundation Horsepower "We are thrilled to announce a new addition to the Young American roster. On March 13, 2007 we will be releasing Horespower, the incredible debut from the acclaimed New Zealand band, The Phoenix Foundation. Young American is also the label behind the APB reissues. APB is in NYC next week.

i saw these guys live at cmj...it is very different than that album, much more experimental...they are really good...nice to see a band like this get a deal here

I got to see them live this past June and they put on a great show. Their sense of humor comes through clearly and they have some truly beautiful, memorable songs both on Horsepower and their second album, Pegasus. Based on some of the new stuff they played, I'm really excited for their upcoming album. They're definitely worth looking into. Great melodies, interesting arrangements and thoughtful lyrics.
