I'm usually underwhelmed when I pay money for a show these days. The action is at open mics and at good ol' fashioned hoe-downs with friends.
One dude with a guitar or cello who can rock the mic with some soul-uplifting dope rhymes -- that's what I want. Anything remotely connected with the oldschool exploitative music industry sucks, even if it is "indie."

The Firestone in Orlando is listed twice. The March 9 date there must be in error.
