The fact that Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, David Byrne, and Jimmy Fallon were added to the Wainwright Family Christmas show (Rufus and Martha) at Carnegie Hall kind of makes up for the fact that I wasn't the one who bought the currently-$128,700.00 Velvet Underground record at a Chelsea stoop sale for 75 cents (actually I don't really care that I didn't find the record, but it sounded clever when I first wrote it).

I have the record. I took it from him. Who wants it?
It's being held for a ransom in a randon Greenpoint warehouse.
