NYC band/duo Shy Child are going on a tour of the UK in February, but not before they play a hometown show at Mercury Lounge on January 31st.

Born Ruffians are visiting NYC from Canada to play two shows with Peter Bjorn and John. Those shows are way sold out, so luckily Born Ruffians added a third show - also January 31st @ Mercury Lounge.

That's two bands who have toured with Hot Chip for the price of one. Ra Ra Riot and Vampire Weekend are also on the bill.

I really the guy playing air guitar or perhaps air bass guitar in the middle of that photo. He looks so serious.

So glad these guys are starting to get more love here and elsewhere. They were a highlight of CMJ.
