Chavez @ Warsaw - audio, video & pics
CHAVEZ @ WARSAW, BROOKLYN, NY | DEC 16, 2006 (CRED)
The reunited Chavez played Warsaw in Brooklyn back on December 16th. Someone taped the show and posted the whole thing for download. Someone else posted some YouTube videos, and another person took some pictures.
I didn't make it to the show. How was it?

unreal is here is a great song but i just dont see how people would be ecstatic for their reunion.

the show kind of sucked

Sam, I completely understand that you don't like Chavez. I've tried to convert my friends and loved ones for years and there's not much middle ground. Think of Chavez like cilantro: some people are cursed with a gene that makes it taste like soap and they'll never be able to appreciate the beauty of the herb. For those of us who love Chavez these shows were among the best of all time. without hyperbole. I was at the Slim's show in SF and ran into people who came from Houston and Seattle just for the show. The men of Chavez played 20 songs and just absolutely destroyed. pray for a third album.

the show was flawless, other than scott not practicing.
they sounded 100% better than when they played with GBV or the Jackie Farry "FUCK CANCER" Benefit.
if you cannot understand the guitar genius which is CLAY TARVER.
then, i am sad for you.

the show was... amazingacalitoriousness. so awesome. the guitars sounded beautiful and matt's was voice was dead on. so amazing to see them live after listening for so long..

It was a great show. They mentioned it was the biggest show they have ever played. You could see how excited they were.
