comedy show Here's The Thing moving to The Pit - last show @ Rififi w/ Slovin & Allen
Rififi comedy staple Here's the Thing is having their one year anniversary / final Rififi show on Sunday (Jan 14, 2007). The show starts up again at it's new NYC location - Peoples Improv Theater (The Pit) - on February 8th. Their final Rififi show includes guests Tom McCaffry, Slovin and Allen, Kurt and Kristen, Julie Klausner, Val Myers, and a yet to be revealed special guest.
Gothamist just published a very extensive interview with Slovin & Allen by comedian interviewer extraordinaire Ben Kharakh. The Apiary interviewed the hosts of Here's the Thing back in June.

man the police were all over the place tonight. I'm not sure what they did, but these two harmless looking girls were handcuffed by undercovers, and then taken away in a police van in front of Mercury Lounge. There were a ton of people outside watching too, but I got there too late to figure out what they did - whether they were just walking by, or from Mercury Lounge, or from Element, or none of the above.

last night, a few of us stopped in a riffiffi to catch a laugh and we were surprised by none other than hipster comic, dmetri martin.
he was trying out some new material and most of it bombed, but there were some gems in there.
anyway, i love rifffiffifffifffifi cuz you can see cool comics and there's only 30 people max in the room.

it probably would of helped if i gave a date. the first one feb. 11 and his co-host is max silvestri.
