George Harrison's ghost takes out stalker
"Cristin Keleher, 34, made headlines in December 1999 by entering George Harrison's Maui estate and then cooking herself a frozen pizza. California police announced that her body had been found in Truckee with that of a 48-year-old man in a car. Both had gunshot wounds to their heads, according to a coroner's report." [BBC]

I doubt George would've held a grudge against her if all she did was break in and heat up a pizza. (Was he even in Hawaii at the time?) Didn't someone else break into his place in England and physically attack him, causing him serious injury?

Whales in her eyes? The hell does that mean?

You know... "whales in her eyes," i.e., "large aquatic mammals in her line of sight." Isn't it obviously?! You people people really have monkeys in your ears sometimes.

Hey Kenny Mix, please tell me more about Christin.
I saw a picture of her on lifeinlegacy.com and she doesn't look menacing at all and she was only 25. I was looking for more info especially if she ever commented about it, other than what she said in court about feeling sick and trying to get out of the rain, I mean commented on being famous for "stalking" a Beatle. What makes her story more intriguing is this murder suicide thing. What type of mental challenges did she have? Sorry to be so inquisitive but I just find her story intriguing after seeing her picture. She looks so sweet and normal. One article said she had a long wrap sheet of prior offences but did not bother to name them. Thanks for posting something on the net other than what little we do know about her, its annoying to only find the same article "Harrison stalker found dead" 1000 times.

I knew Cristin when she was a teenager in NJ. She was sweet, silly, funny, and talented. She was beautiful, too- I was always envious of her fabulous smile. We thought of her as crazy in a good way, but now that I look back I see that those character traits were the beginnings of mental illness. It saddens me to see her portrayed as a one-dimensional stalker. Until we take mental health seriously in this country, tragedies such as this will continue to happen.

Nice headline. George Harrison was know for being a vengeful violent man and it's always fun to make fun of someone being murdered. Great job... you should be proud.

I knew Cristin in high school and was shocked when I heard what has happened. Cristin was a beautiful and very funny girl and friend. You would have to know her to understand the whales in her eyes comment. She had absolutely beautiful, vibrant very crystal blue eyes and a big smile. As far as the George Harrison "story" I don't believe she would have ever served any time had he not been attacked a week later. I think it is ridiculous for all of us who will miss her to have to keep reading of her as a stalker. She was very far from it. I have only great memories of her in our Jr./Sr/....years. I pray for her that she is happy and pray for her family and there loss.

Thank you for sharing your memories, I don't even like thinking about the way she died. Nor do I think its funny to make light of it the way most of the articles did. Sadly she will always be famous for being his stalker.

I'm not sure why you chose the dodgy title to this article, aside from its attention getting value. I will say that the young lady's break in was a far cry from the maniacle attack inflicted upon George in Henley. He would no doubt have been troubled by the breakin, but mostly on behalf of the girl. It's tragic that she died as well.

Actually if you remember In 1999, George Harrison was stabbed several times by a man who broke into his home west of London. The man, who ranted that the Beatles were witches and believed himself on a divine mission to kill Harrison, was acquitted on grounds of insanity. So I think that he wanted some revenge back.

I didn't know either of these people. I do know Maui and love Hana. George's estate was in Nahiku on "the road to Hana". Walking into someone's home is not that unusual in this part of the world. I do think that peace and love brought her there. If you have ever been to Hana maybe you might agree with me. Poor George had a few troubles with a neighbor or two. He made a small mistake buying too much land in such a special place. No one should be stalked or shot. This headline may have a purpose. Maybe it should be a forum to learn what not to say? Go to Hana, perhaps stop in Nahiku and wonderlust.
