DOWNLOAD: Malajube - Pate Filo (MP3)

It was the Polaris competition that first introduced me to the French Canadian band called Malajube. Since then my relationship with them went from mild interest - to true love. The pictures in this post are from their November 4, 2006 CMJ/FADER show that officially sealed the deal. On February 18th they're coming back to NYC to play Mercury Lounge with Snowden. The next day they play Southpaw in Brooklyn (Ra Ra Riot also on that bill). In March they're playing SXSW. All tour dates below...

So do I. I would go to probably the Mercury show... if I wasn't 16.

Nice to see Malajube getting recognition outside of Canada. Their last show in Toronto had a packed house (much, much moreso than when I saw them last Spring)...hopefully their NY show will be well-attended.
