Matador's Ponys touring w/ Vice's Black Lips | WIN
The person who posts the cleverest name for this tour in the comments wins a pair of tickets to the show of their choice (on this tour).
Matador recently signed The Ponys. VICE recently signed the pee-drinking Black Lips. In March they're both touring together. They'll be in Texas suspiciously close to the dates of SXSW. On March 26th they play Bowery Ballroom in NYC.

i love the black lips. they were hands-down the biggest highlight of CMJ for me.

wow. I saw teh Black Lips 2 maybe 3 years ago here in Atlanta, and I was sure it was the last time I would hear of them. But back then they were just another drunky garage deal - not even the best on the entirely local bill (though I do remember ejoying some richard Hellish slow songs) and there were no penis antics of any kind. Whodathunk that's what would win over the discriminating indie crowd?
