Matt & Kim | Bowery & SXSW & other 2007 tour dates

Matt & Kim are officially moving out of the hood with a headlining show at Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan on March 9th. I want to say that security won't have to worry about stopping the stage divers this time, but the duo do seem to be keeping it real with a 16+ age limit and a low-low-for-Bowery ticket price of only $8.00.

Matt & Kim also playing some other places including the SXSW parties listed below....

Yeah. Todd P was originally going to do this show on the 10th. But it is no longer on his site. I guess Bowery swept it out from under him. There better be dancin'.

Are their shows as awesome as everyone's carrying on about? Someone that's been to an M&K show please respond.

Fucking Great Show. Let there be no doubt. I'm not sure why, but the fans bring it.

Matt & Kim are as wack as those crummy ass lofts in bk , they bang around in ..

this band is cute, but total hacks. terrible voices, boring melodies, but they wear a big grin and "happiness" and "cheer"=GOOD MUSIC

i like my crummy ass loft. so yeah. i mean yea yeah.

i like my crummy ass BK loft too!

i'm pretty impressed with this - so M&K are as big as Clipse now to play the bowery wow.

even if you dont dig the music you gotta give up mad respect b/c M&K aren't pushed by a major or even a reputed indie label, they dont have a fancy marketing campaign - they have their music and their dedication and playing shows rocking out getting better making new friends... DIY is still alive!

The best part about M&K is that they're happy as hell to be doing what they're doing. As corny as it sounds they're living dreams and having a good ass time doing so.

Like somebody else mentioned, the crowd really brings it. If the crowd in your area fails to do so, I'm sorry. I saw them play in a small coffee shop in Michigan and the staff there were literally worried about the floor collapsing under the weight of so many dancing, sweaty participants.

if i had a nickel for everytime some one told me to stop dancing to matt and kim because they were afraid the floor was going to collapse, id have a shitload of nickels.
