Maybe RIAA lawsuits help pay Paris Hilton's 'tour' expenses

The Daily Express has yet another article about the suffering music industry
One of Warner Music’s biggest mistakes last year was an album released by socialite Paris Hilton. It sold just 13,000 copies, a disaster made worse by the money spent on the heiress and her entourage.Via Coolfer who also weighs in on the Merlin/Snocap deal. One source claims that she brought 14 people with her to the UK including three security guards, two tour managers (despite there being no tour) and three American publicists.
A week’s accommodation at the exclusive Metropolitan hotel on London’s Park Lane came to around £160,000. The entourage was flown to Britain in either first or business class.
Now the RIAA is going after XM Satellite radio, and the future of mixtapes is in question.

paris' family is probably thrilled to know that their hotels aren't good enough for her and her posse.

speaking of this war- this is hopeless. I can't believe this is happening. This is really Twilight Zone-ish. I have never been a fan of politicians in general, but it's as though our federal government has been hijacked by the most disgusting sacks of shit imaginable. Our gov't is guilty of atrocities equal to any acts of terrorism that have been committed. I would have never said that 6 years ago. Sadly, we deserve whatever vengeance is put on us in retalliation, "we" elected AND re-elected this administration.
Where are the musicians protesting this travesty? It's even too late now... fuck it.

13,000 units? Wonder if that's worldwide, or just in the UK?
"*crickets*"! Funny!

alas the express should be ignored full stop for being the most painfully, unabashed right-wing paper in the uk.

maybe 13K is just UK since that's where the paper is and that's where the show they're referencing was.
