NYC clubs Crobar, Sol & Pink Elephant shut down this weekend

"On Friday night, cops padlocked popular club Crobar, celeb hangout Pink Elephant and hot spot Club Sol, citing numerous violations for drugs, underage drinking and violence." [NY post]

everyone was so pissed they didn't get arcade fire tix so they went out and caused a ruckus.

Who cares. Crobar is terrible and the new Studio Mezmar or whatever it is, is gonna suck just as bad. It's the same management and concept. I give it another 2 years, tops. (And that's being dillusionally generous).
