Stolen Transmission benefit show + Horrors @ Bowery (SXSW?)
The Horrors @ Studio B, NYC | March 11, 2006 (CRED)
The Horrors must be playing SXSW because the UK band have a March 10th Bowery Ballroom NYC show that is now on sale. You'll remember them from NME/CMJ.
In related news, the Horrors are the only Stolen Transmission band NOT playing Ultragrrrl's Stolen Transmission benefit show at the Annex in NYC this Monday - January 22nd.
8:30 - The Oohlas (acoustic)Tickets are $10 and the money goes to Waggytail Rescue and Here Kitty Kitty.
9pm - Bright Light Fever (FIRST EVER NYC SHOW!!!!)
10pm - Monty Are I
11pm - The Photo Atlas
12pm - Permanent ME

Isn't Nightmare of You also a Stolen Transmission band? They're not playing the benefit show either.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING ABOUT THIS SHOW!!! I'm really hoping to raise a lot of money for these two organizations.
The Horrors are in the UK and couldnt make it for this show, unfortunately. But they've just recorded an LP, so they have more than 12 minutes of music now. Horay!
Ultragrrr is Fat jokes are sooo 20 lbs ago.
Nightmare of You isnt on Stolen Transmission. I put out a 500 hand-made pressing of a single of theirs about 2 years ago from my bedroom. Besides, they're on tour in the UK now.
