Sure Juror playing a BV show @ Pianos, NYC | Nov 1, 2006

Heartonastick tells the story of how the NJ-based Sure Juror almost didn’t play their first-ever NYC show. They were the first band scheduled to play (at noon) at the first of the three shows I threw during CMJ last year. Their car got towed in Brooklyn the night before, and they hadn’t slept much if at all. They finally arrived almost-too-late, tired and stressed, but still managed to jump on stage and play an awesome 4-song set that left me (and most in attendance I think) wanting more. Somehow we still managed to keep the rest of the show on time too.

They haven’t played here (or anywhere?) again since. That changes starting Saturday:
