how long will it take until they move one of the shows to the bowery?

Its only a matter of time before this show sells out and we see posts like this on craigslist:
http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/tix/266121294.html
You know, I do think the fact that people mark up tickets is not the best thing in the world but at the end of the day scalping is just a way people make money...maybe not the most moral way but there is way worse things people can do than scalp tickets...at least the person at the other end of the deal tends to be quite happy they are going to be enjoying an experience they would have otherwise missed.
What I don't get is the need for people to whine and complain about this...at what point do they realize that nothing is going to change (there will always be people willing to pay premium if the desire is strong enough and the cash is around).
For crying out loud, if you love a band and claim to be a huge fan etc. stay on top of them (or just read this site) and you will most likely not miss when they go on sale and can at least attempt getting tickets.

"how long will it take until they move one of the shows to the bowery?"
With Assembly of Dust playing the Bowery on the same night I think the shot is slim but obviously can happen...the bowery has definetley switched bands between venues...but Assembly of Dust will most likely also sell out the Bowery so their really is no need to switch em....

With El-P & Assembly of Dust playing the Bowery on the both nights I think the shot is slim but obviously can happen...the bowery has definetley switched bands between venues...but both of these bands will most likely also sell out the Bowery so their really is no need to switch em....

Not true. NYC eats up whatever some blog of website like Pitchfork tell them too. Nothing but sheep.

Is the band name a reference to Goonies?

British music is just better, besides New York, and Austin to some extent, american music is pretty crappy. All you have to do is look at the best american bands and most of them spend as much if not more time in europe cause they appreciate it more.

The Fratellis are quite great they have a big following in the states with only a ep out. Give em a listen then go or don't go but don't talk out your butt.
