The I have a dream speech? Give me a break. It's such a shame that this complex, revolutionary man's legacy has been ground down to one simple cliched hippie-dippie speech. Most of your so-called "educated" readers probably couldn't tell you much more about this man than the fact the he gave the I have a dream sppech, he had affairs, and someone killed him. Posting that is the like posting The Times Are A Changing and nothing else when Dylan dies.

"and nothing else"
it looks to me like he posted a link to "Martin Luther King Jr. - A True Historical Examination" at the end. lighten up dude.

Well, that "True Historical Perspective" link is to a page created by a white supremist connected to Stormwatch, a white supremacy group. Not exactly an ideal destination for the history of Dr. King.

Sorry . . . Stormwatch isn't a white-supremacy group. They're just the forums for the Ku Klux Klan.

The " Ive Been To The Mountaintop" speech is incomplete. Only about 1.1mb. Please fix, I would love to have that one too!

"Well, that 'True Historical Perspective' link is to a page created by a white supremist connected to Stormwatch"
Oh god, SORRY about that - learned my lesson not to do things in a rush before running out. Someone just called me to tell me the mistake - fixed it from an Internet cafe - and it's now going to Wikipedia instead.
What's most sickening about this is that a White supremacist group owns the URL I linked to orignally....totally tricked me. :-(

Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream and message are as relevant today, as they were in days of yore. Here's a song that I'm hoping will help people remember the man, his message and his dream on the day we celebrate in his honor, and beyond:
