It's the best festival ever. I've been twice (and played it once). Make the trip to the NW!

Great festival. Not as good as coachella, but it's worth the trek. especially for saturday!

Posted by jare | February 20, 2007 1:16 PM

yes, especially for Saturday.

Posted by brooklynvegan | February 20, 2007 1:24 PM

same shit as all the others

is there an airport near there? why cant a festival like that happen in vermont or maine? jeez.

Posted by lk | February 20, 2007 1:31 PM

Is the reason that Sasquatch is so well-liked the setting (i.e., that incredible view in the picture)? Or is it something else? Because, as Anonymous said in different terms, the lineup seems to be pretty much the same lineup we're seeing at all the other major festivals.

woooooooo minus the bear! that view is gorgeous.

I agree this festival looks great. While some have commented that it looks like a lot of the other lineups I would agree but imo it has less crap added in Saturday looks amazing.

the gorge is probably the best place I've ever been to see a show outdoors. It's very beautiful, it sounds great, and everyone can see the stage.

Posted by jared | February 20, 2007 1:47 PM

Same line-up as all the other festivals, sure, but without the huge crowds. It's pretty easy to skip between stages and show up right before any band you want to see and get a good spot.

Capacity at the Gorge: 20,000
Capacity at Coachella: 60,000
Capacity at Bonnaroo: 80,000+

That's all you need to know. Oh yeah, did I mention the scenery?

leggy underage blondes!

it's a beautiful place. if i could convince my friends that it doesn't hail every year i'd definitely go again.

Posted by t | February 20, 2007 2:17 PM

viva voce is amazing.

Posted by natalia | February 20, 2007 2:26 PM

Gorgeous view. Do you have to drive to the bar or restroom?

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2007 3:38 PM

sunday's a little weak. i think i'm blinded by my hatred for franti

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2007 3:54 PM

I've only gone to the Gorge for a Phish concert, but damn, is that venue incredible.
The camping is fun too.

Posted by jay97 | February 20, 2007 4:22 PM

bjork headlining sounds a little weak, although I hear good things about her live show.

more bands are still going to be announced. silversun pickups, among others.

great venue to see a show, although the no re-admittance policy pretty much blows.

Posted by sbord426 | February 20, 2007 4:53 PM

"bjork headlining sounds a little weak"

um, no

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2007 4:58 PM

They should move Interpol and Mirah to Saturday and just cancel Sunday.

Last year's lineup was far better.

Posted by Bort | February 20, 2007 9:49 PM

View of the main stage is amazing- but the walk up the 85 degree hill is murder.

Posted by Sean | February 20, 2007 10:39 PM

I can't wait to see Bjork! She is amazing and i'm excited that she's headlining at Sasquatch. Saturday will be the day to go for sure. The Gorge is an outstanding place to go see an outside concert. The sound is great and the sun sets directly behind the stage.

Posted by Scotty | February 21, 2007 9:10 PM

are there options other than camping? thanks

Posted by Anonymous | February 21, 2007 9:33 PM

this lineup sucks

last year was ten times better

Posted by Anonymous | February 22, 2007 1:37 AM

this year im going to virgin festival instead, much better lineup

killers AFI metric and hot hot heat

Posted by Anonymous | February 22, 2007 1:42 AM

This lineup has some up and coming talent but its got NOTHING on last year's lineup. They'd better announce more big names if they think they'll sell it out like last year. Buhleedat.

Posted by AnonymousCanadian | February 23, 2007 1:02 AM

I saw last year's lineup and am going to this year's saturday lineup. I listened to some of this year's lineup's bands and don't see how anyone is saying last year's was that much better. Who know's what bing names they were even talking about last year.

Posted by Anonymous | March 1, 2007 2:08 PM

mirah is performing on saturday not sunday

Posted by Anonymous | March 1, 2007 8:38 PM

This seems to be the first festival I'm gonna go

Posted by Eduardo | March 2, 2007 5:13 PM

Im pumped as hell for M.I.A.
Diplo...enough said

Posted by Sherlock Tone | March 8, 2007 12:56 PM

hey, so is mirah playing sat or sun? on the official site it says sat, but i've seen on other sites lineups it's sunday.

Posted by amy | March 11, 2007 9:38 PM
