Peter Bjorn and John | 2007 Tour Dates

STREAM: Tom Knight - Peanut Butter and Jelly (real) (via)

Peanut Butter Jelly

Peter Bjorn and John are coming back to NYC. Last time they were here, I overdid it. After much excitement, I went and saw them three nights in a row. The first two shows felt like pure concert bliss. The third, and biggest of the three, was sure to be the perfect ending - but it ended up feeling somewhat disastrous. From there I think suffered through a slight case of post-concert depression. Now fully recovered, I'm sure I would be ready to see them again by May, but I can't say I necessarily support their choice of even bigger, unpopular venue(s):

PB & J, 2007
05-01 New York, NY - Webster Hall

Webster Hall? Sorry dudes. If they couldn't swing it at the Bowery, this is gonna be a disaster.

Yeah I was curious when they go on sale as well

I'd like to see them again but I freaking despise Webster Hall. Hopefully by May they will tighten up their act.

these guys seem a lil over-hyped to me- then add webster halls suck factor

bowery ballroom is one of the best places to see a band in the country- in my opinion.
but now bands are floating right over the joint.
example- band A will be scheduled to play mercury, then it is moved to bowery. so they play bowery, maybe once, next time they roll around they are at webster, or worse roseland.
it's crapola

Im sorry if you had a bad experience at the Bowery show, but then again you saw them 3 nights in a row. I was at the Bowery show, and I thought they were brilliant. Also, I think they have what it takes to sell out a big venue, and you are lucky if you saw them at Bowery, becuase I dont think they will ever play small shows like that in the near future.

I am with Christopher. I am not a fan of Webster Hall. I keep saying I'll go there only if the band is so worth it. Guess I am a sucker for punishment or just a sucker. I will give the Webster Hall show a whirl. Didn't take long to twist my arm.
