The Thermals / Big Sleep show @ Bowery Ballroom in NYC on March 4th is sold out, so they added another one at Studio B in Brooklyn on March 5th ("Todd P presents"). Tickets are now on sale.

After touring with The Big Sleep, The Thermals are playing some dates with The Hold Steady, and then more dates after that. The Big Sleep will be at SXSW. Eveyrone's tour dates below....

Guess the Thermals liked Studio B from their CMJ show. Personally, the idea of trekking out to the middle of nowhere on a Monday night in what could still be very cold early-March doesn't seem like a great idea to me.

That said, Studio B's smoke machines are oddly compelling.

middle of nowhere? ppllllllease it's a 15 minute walk from the Bedford L stop, which is like 15 minutes from union sq.

sorry. not everything good is on your way home.

believe it or not, a lot of people liek the cenovenience of being 5 or 10 blocks away from something- that's why they live in NYC. not to shuffle around town for hours in the cold

why do you assume most people live in manhattan? most of the young people left are probably all just nyu undergrads.

most of the indie concertgoers, live in brooklyn anyway.
