What the fuck does this have to... oh, wait.

Can they sell out Hammerstein????

When the presale link finally came online at about 10.10am, ticketmaster had 'brainstorm' as the password, not 'brianstorm' (honestly!). It took the Monkeys about another 20 minutes to get it changed to the correct 'brianstorm'.

Oh, they'll sell out Hammerstein. Easily.

Oh, they'll sell out Hammerstein. Easily. In fact, since the official onsale is Friday, I'd expect this to sell out by Monday.

More like sold out by saturday morning, when all the kids got their allowance and the tour has been made public by all the major magazines.

a great site this is, but i guess it just draws a disproportionate amount of cheap, whiny losers (who actually think they're hip). all i ever read here is complaints about ticket prices. when one of you 'kids' pays $200-$300 to see someone like the rolling stones or madonna, then you can whine. until then just suck on a pacifier.

arctic monkeys at $40 is an absolute steal, considering they are the most important band on the planet at this time (oh wait! they're not from canada or scandanavia! maybe i'm wrong).

99% of the bands mentioned here will be distant memories in a year or two. arctic monkeys will be snubbing the R&R hall of fame in 24 years when they are invited to join.

ta!
