wow, Califone's avoiding the Southeast like the plague, i see. boo to that.

Can you blame them? The Southeast is a vile place. The still use confederate flags and places like Stone Mountain are popular tourist spots.

Does he tour with a full band? Or is it his guitar and computers?

He normally plays with a band or he at least has been lately. This is something that I'm not missing, but some people have posted negative comments about their live show (previous posts on stuff in the past). I've streamed some of the their live stuff and I didn't think there was anything wrong with it.

I saw them in philadelphia in 2002, with no idea who they were, and was totally bored.

I saw them again in northampton, MA in 2004 and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life. They absolutely kill with two drummers, this totally enveloping sound, the hooks become so much bigger live. That, and there was maybe five people at the show other than me, and it wasn't opening for wilco at a really cavernous place like the electirc factory.
