Ed Banger & Presets @ Hiro Ballroom + this weekend

There's sure to be plenty of pictures on the Internet from this event - The Cobra Snake, Last Night's Party, Ambrel, Nicky Digital, AND Tricia Romano were all in the house, as was BV Dance guru David Bruno who snapped this shot during the Presets' set...

The Presets @ Hiro Ballroom

It wasn't life changing or anything - just good Ed Banger (Justice, Busy P, Sebastian, Medhi) DJ's, and kids from every scene coming together and having fun on the dance floor (and REALLY expensive drinks). Kele from Bloc Party was there hanging out too. This weekend is gonna be hip and crazy:

Friday 3-30
* Bloc Party @ United Palace Theatre
* LCD Soundsystem @ Bowery Ballroom
* Diplo & Bonde Do Role @ Studio B
* Lo-Fi-Fnk @ Annex (Ruff Club)

Saturday 3-31
* Bloc Party @ United Palace Theatre
* LCD Soundsystem @ Bowery Ballroom (& afterparty)
* Walter Meego, Oxford Collapse, Dragons of Zynth @ Knitting Factory
* The Presets, Datarock & Lo-Fi-Fnk @ Studio B

Sunday 4-01
* Les Savy Fav, The Big Sleep & Call Me Lightning @ Bowery Ballroom

More shows @ Oh My Rockness.

a lot of fun. can't wait for them to come back. that justice full length should be great. i'm guessing we heard a great deal from it tonight.

Hiro Ballroom is ridiculously expensive. It wasn't the show/party itself but the venue.

Unbelievable time last night. The Presets absolutely crushed it up there.

Wish I wasn't still hammered right now...gonna be a long day at the office!

people. when you go to hiro, flask it. it's the only way. and if you're a girl, go to the male bartenders...they won't charge you $4 for your soda.

Got there too late for the other stuff

And I am really not trying to be "that guy" but Bloc Party tonight? This is the way to start a weekend.

i'm more excited about starting off the weekend with lcd soundsystem and diplo. a seated show just doesn't appeal to me.

every time i've done it there, bowery's will call has been just checking credit card against a list, but i think you need to have the actual card.

Am I the only one who thought this show was underwhelming?
