Before the avalanche of negative comments about the band begins, just want to say that these guys put on a good show (seen them twice). Say what you will about their originality, their preciousness, and by god, their cheesy lyrics, but I was pretty blown away by them a few years ago. At Webster, no less. So if you haven’t seen them, maybe it makes sense to temper that ire a bit.

Yeah, but that Nissan song made me buy a shitty car.

does anyone know when the roseland tix go on sale?

Nissan? you should only be so lucky... try getting stuck with a 99.5 Jetta.

never forget the Germans.

Is there not yet another venue with the capacity of Roseland that all these bands can play instead? Roseland is just the worst.

How do they kick off a tour and not play D.C.?

the new record is so bad. i mean, some of the tracks are so horrible, i can't listen to them. this is coming from an avid fan who loves the first two albums beyond words. and yeah, roseland sucks. so, shitty new record+roseland=fuck that.

They're great live, I saw them last year in Montreal, I'd go again if they were coming back but they're not.
