Lavender Diamond (Matador) - 2007 Tour Dates, MP3

DOWNLOAD: Lavender Diamond - You Broke My Heart (MP3)

"Primarily a vehicle for the astonishing vocals and buoyant worldview of Becky Stark, the Los Angeles-based Lavender Diamond's take on the dying art of the perfect pop song is as elemental as it is ambitious — though their forthcoming Matador full-length, Imagine Our Love (due the eighth of May), is more of the latter."

Midlake's from Denton, that's about all I can add. Robert Gomez too.

denton is home to the 2nd best music school in the country, behind juilliard.

University of Texas is there. It's often preferred to playing in Dallas.

Also, this band is amazing and this album is mind-blowing.

Actually the University of Texas is in Austin. Denton is home to the University of North Texas indie rock type city in Texas after Austin. It's located near dallas, but is a much better place to visit.

That should have read, "it's generally thought to be the second-bestindie rock type city in Texas after Austin." I need better editors.
