I saw him there way back in December 2003, before he was known outside his Lubavitch community. I thought of him then what I think now. Nice, little gimmick - pleasant music - but nothing to go crazy about.
In Yiddish, I am pretty sure the Lubavitch now think of him as a Golem. Actually, probably not.
