Morrissey has only gotten better with age.
His voice and certainly showmanship is better now than ever. Not to mention the arsenal of songs from the past 20 years that he has to choose from.
Long live Moz.

...which is why "All tour dates below...." is an inaccurate statement.
His people still haven't said if he's playing the arena or the theater at MSG.
By the way, Kristeen Young is the name of the individual and KRISTEENYOUNG is the name of the duo which she fronts. (I'm just trying to make sure her drummer, "Baby Jeff" White, isn't overlooked.)

MADISON SQUARE FRIGGIN' GARDEN?
At lease he's fat enough to see from this less than intimate venue?

"the rest of his East Coast dates will be released soon"
...like, today: http://true-to-you.net/morrissey_news_070321_01
Given the capacity of MSG that the site, um, gives (13,098), he's playing the arena.

MSG capacity is 20,000 for concerts ... I believe Moz is smoking the same pipe as Bjork!

From http://www.thegarden.com/a_zGuide.html#s :
For basketball events in the Arena, the seating capacity is 19,763 and for hockey events in the Arena, the seating capacity is 18,200. For all other events, seating capacity changes depending on the set-up of the event. For events in the Theater, the seating capacity is 5,600.
Maybe they won't sell seats behind the stage.

It certainly does appear to be the arena. While capacity for basketball is 19000, that includes the complete arena, including upper nose-bleed seats and all seats that would be behind the stage for a concert.
If the behind stage and upper levels are eliminated, 13,000 sounds about right for the arena.
Too bad, though, since the Theatre is such a superior concert venue, and the sound is superb.

According to Wikipedia ... For hockey, the Garden seats 18,200; for basketball, 19,763; and for concerts 20,000 center stage, 19,522 end-stage.
So if Bjork cancels her three other shows to support, Lily Allen opens and Amy Winehouse stays sober ... then we have a show for 20,000!

Three date are listed on ticketmaster with presale dates. sometimes presale requires password, sometimes not. One date is posted for sale without a presale. Clearly no rhyme or reason to it all. Just "Please, Please, Please let me get what I want"...a ticket to any show within driving distance of Brooklyn.
