The long-awaited New York appearances during The Arcade Fire’s North American tour have just been announced. On May 7 and 8, the band will perform at the United Palace at 175th and Broadway. On May 9, they’ll headline legendary Radio City Music Hall as the inaugural event of the David Bowie-curated High Line Festival. Tickets for all three shows will be available through TicketMaster beginning on Friday, March 30 at 10:00 AM.

175th and Broadway is Harlem? I thought it was Washington Heights. It's almost Inwood. No matter, those are all great neighborhoods-like the last ones in Manhattan where real down to earth people can be found.
Can they really sell out all three of those shows?-those are big venues.
Who else is playing at the Radio City show besides them?

United Palace is a church (Reverend Ike) when it's not being used for concerts. Do they serve alcohol there during concerts?

Oh Patti, no one cares about you anymore-it's not 1975.

Ok, big question here...Why has Taco Bell not developed their version of the chimichanga yet? Don't get me wrong, the crunchwrap is good but they need to start making chimichangas and enchiladas. I know they wouldn't be real mexican, but a chimichanga from taco bell would be pretty damn good. Somebody oughta make it happen.

$35 seems like a lot for patti smith...

Common guys, nobody's gonna bite on my chimichanga idea?

Ten years ago I my wife and I saw Patti in Tokyo, Japan. My wife was 9 months pregnant at the time. Two days later we had a baby girl, called Anja. Next month Patti is playing in Zurich, Switzerland, where we now live. But on the very same night our now ten year old daughter has her first ever saxaphone concert. We'll be at Anja's concert, but we are going to miss you Patti.
Love the new album.
