Hot off the dance presses: Radio Soulwax Announce US Tour
Soulwax (!) just announced their US tour leading up to their live appearance at Coachella on April 29th. The tour includes stops in both New York cities: Manhattan (April 17) and Brooklyn (April 18). All of the dates will feature Soulwax Nite Versions live, as well as DJ sets from the Dewaele brothers as 2 Many DJs, and the Fixed boys JDH & Dave P. As I've mentioned, Soulwax Nite Versions live is practically life changing. If you've never been to a dance party, go to this one. You won't be disappointed. Well worth the price of admission. Stay tuned for ticket info.
Lo-Fi-Fnk Tour Starts Tomorrow
Just a reminder, that Lo-Fi-Fnk kicks off their US tour tomorrow (March 6) in Los Angeles and will be making their way through to SXSW, WMC, and finally to NYC. Make sure to catch up with them at least a few times.
Our friend DJ Never Forget will be accompanying the Fnk's on tour as well as DJing at select dates. Stay tuned to BrooklynVegan.com for reports from the road.

The Soulwax show at Studio B in September was hands-down one of the best shows I saw in 2007:

I like the second one better. Anyway, is Radio Soulwax a DJ Set by Soulwax?

I had forgotten how awful is their website.

Radio Soulwax is the whole tour package: Soulwax Nite Versions live plus 2 Many DJs as a DJ set.

heres the official definition of "radio soulwax":
"
In the months since the release of their last studio album ‘Any Minute Now’ – Soulwax – AKA the brothers David & Stephen Dewaele (also known to many as 2 Many DJs), and their Soulwax compadres Stefaan Van Leuven and Steve Slingeneyer have played at approximately 120 live venues & festivals across the globe including spectacular slots at Glastonbury and Werchter festivals, they’ve produced tracks for Tiga’s debut album, delivered three highly acclaimed remixes that have smashed speakers across the globe for Gorillaz (“Dare”) , Daft Punk (“Robot Rock”) LCD Soundsystem’s (“Daft Punk Is Playing At My House”), Robbie Williams (“Lovelight”), and The Gossip. Now, Soulwax brings the US their invigorating live show, performing tracks from their US release of Nite Versions (Modular Records) - an entire album of brand new interpolations and reinterpretations of tracks taken in most part from their highly acclaimed Any Minute Now album– replayed and reworked, twisted to work on the dancefloor and a homage to the extended 12” format.
And so this leads us to…Radio Soulwax.
Since September 05, Soulwax’s tour has been dubbed Radio Soulwax. With the modus operandi just as in their 2ManyDJs guise, David and Stephen have brought you a new sound in clubland and a new party aesthetic to the tired art of mix compilations. Radio Soulwax nights are put together to bring a selection of the world’s finest live acts/DJs together for a series of genre splicing, news making and cutting edge club experiences curated by the pair. So…on this tour you will experience DJ’s, Soulwax, 2manyDJ’s, more DJ’s and about as much debauchery that you can fit into one evening."

Art Brut are scheduled at Studio B for 4/18. Are there two rooms there? A split bill and possibly the best show ever?
Confused...

ya - someone else emailed me about this earlier. I in turn sent out a lot of emails and so far have only heard back from a lot of confused people. There are not two rooms. I'll let you know what I hear.
