Voxtrot @ Webster Hall - on sale today
Voxtrot @ Emo's, Austin, TX (SXSW) - Mar 14, 2007 (CRED)

$18.00 Tickets go on sale today at Noon for Voxtrot's June 15th show at Webster Hall in NYC. Favourite Sons and Au Revoir Simone are opening. I know everything is more expensive here, but I still couldn't help but notice that the other four not-NYC Voxtrot shows on Ticketweb are only $10.00 a ticket. All tour dates here.

what is going on here? the influx of bands playing from may to june is insane! I guess I'm only going hit up Califone and Arcade Fire since I'm going to Bonnaroo.

they should move the show back to the bowery ballroom. cause when you're debut album's this bad, you're not gonna be able to sell out webster hall.

Listen to the opening hook of "Kid Gloves" and then "Misread" by Kings of Convenience.
You heard it here first.

How about "This Place Has Go No Soul" being EXACTLY the same, top to bottom, as "Rollercoaster Ride" - B&S
Posted by Nick | March 28, 2007 9:21 PM
actually I was sent a copy by a member of the band, so no i didn't "steal" it

I qualify "acquiring" albums via the web by blaming the record industry for screwing me over for years with their overpriced product. $18.99 for a CD? Por-fucking-que? These things cost nothing to press. And now with iTunes and digital music, it costs less than nothing to upload. Songs on iTunes shouldn't cost $0.99, they should cost $0.10.
That being said, I do still purchase albums of bands I really like (especially indie) to support them and get artwork/liner notes. But it's really not my fault if I'm getting some music off the net, it's the record industry's.

If you want to support the record label, buy the album, but if you want to support the artist go to the show.
The new Voxtrot album is pretty good. You need to give it a few listens. At first it may sound average, but after a while it grows on you.

anyone think this show will sell out? i want to go but with every single show for the next 2 months seemingly going on sale tomorrow, i need to be a little picky as to what i actually buy.
