If anyone needs one, I've got an extra ticket for tonight's Young Knives show to get rid of for face ($15 including fees). Please email vejgurl @ yahoo . com if you're interested. Thanks.

I caught the show at Luna Lounge last night. I thought the band was fabulous live. Not to start a flame war, but they were significantly better than the The View's show at the Merc in January.

I posted some pictures that I took at the show on my site BrooklynRocks:

Well I thought last night's show was pretty excellent - just a shame that so few people turned out for it - perhaps Time Out's totally misleading description didn't help. And the fact that the god awful Unisex Salon (anyone that feels the need to rip off a Killers song whilst leaping around like the bastard love child of Jagger, the Scissor Sisters and a Muppet shouldn't be on a stage) had a bigger crowd and more reaction wasn't great.

The Young Knives reinforced my view from having seen them last summer that they're one of the most entertaining, musically and otherwise, live acts around. And the album isn't half bad either.

Hot summer! Hot hot summer!
