Is there a way to get tickets for !!! at Studio B without using Ticketweb or the presale site? aka a box office.

if the show doesn't sell out too quickly, you should be able to get tickets from other music.

the pre-sale site still has tickets, i just got two.
anyone know the camera policy of studio b and how big it is? i've never been there.

jason:
i saw patrick wolf there on 4/6 and they didn't check anyone at all...a lot of people had cameras at the show, so you should be fine if you want to bring one.

jason:
i saw Of Montreal there this weekend...a lot of people had grenades, pistols, drugs, assault rifles and people were naked all over the place, so I agree you should be fine.

stusio b is a good size. stage is tiny and sightlines aren't as good as bowery, but it's still good. the sign posted in the bar has capacity at around 550, but i know of parties where they've sold in excess of 1200 tickets, so i dunno.
the bouncers check bags, but for booze/drugs. not that that stops anyone...

Damn. Studio B is an ideal venue for !!! Way better than Bowery. I love Bowery, but I think !!! is far better suited to club-type venues than ballrooms.

awesome, thanks for the help all. i was hesitant about trying to see them at bowery and i'm glad they're playing a smaller place in NYC.

That's hardcore to play Germany one night, then Los Angeles the very next night!!

Never thought I'd hear people complaining about the Bowery... ever.

Studio B bookers are ok, but the owner is a horrible scumbag. Sucks to see all of my favorite bands making money for that prick.
