I bought an extra pair that I no longer need. If anyone wants to buy them at face value, please contact me at zenlaw6@yahoo.com

It seems like all the best seats were not available due to presale.

Agreed. I bought my tickets at 12 on the dot and I still got balcony seats.

OK Dan at 12.11pm ... Sounds to me like you bought an extra pair to scalp them, and now an extra show is added, you will eat them! Fuck you and your 'extra pair' for face value, I hope you choke on them!

why would you scalp tickets at face value? If anything Dan is losing money on the ticket master charge, and who ever is buying them is getting that charge off.

I've been able to get near front row orchestra seats for a lot of sold out town hall shows at the office the day of the show. It worked recently for all three nights of ryan adams, m.ward and sufjan stevens.

Dan didn't buy the tickets to scalp them at face value, he bought them to scalp them at two or three or four times face value, or whatever they would've been going for after the first show sold out and if a second show wasn't added.
But now that a second show has been added, Dan has realised that his tickets won't be worth shit, and all of a sudden, the tickets he just bought three hours earlier ... he doesn't need anymore?
That's why Dan is praying to God he can get face value back on the tickets he planned on scalping!

Hey stupid "Froggy"...why would I be offering to sell the tix at face value if I was trying to scalp them? Are you accusing me of a bait and switch?
I'm happy for Feist fans that she added a 2nd show. I really hope someone will still buy my extra pair. I have no desire to make any profit...that would be bad ticket karma.

Got 2 free songs from ITunes for this ticket purchase.

Err, I mean, I hate scalpers like the next guy.
But I mean, the second shows going to sell out also, and those tickets will be valuable.
If Dan was as much of a prick as you internet geeks are making him out to be, he would just hold onto the ticket for a few more days, then overcharge for them.

Froggy...i hope you misplace your tickets and have to buy dan's pair for 6 times the face value.
Get over yourself.

Regardless of whether the 2nd show sells out, my pair for the first show will remain at face value. I could care less what the tickets might fetch on craigslist or ebay.
I already have a buyer, but I'll bet she pulls out and tries to buy tix for the 2nd show.

Why would you buy an 'extra' pair at 12pm, and offer to sell them at face at 3.11pm, just after the second show was announced?
Duh!
Posted by froggy | April 20, 2007 6:24 PM
What are you talking about Froggy? I posted my desire to sell the tickets at 12:11 p.m. Only 10 minutes after I bought them and WAY before I learned about the second show. (To be honest, I learned about the second show from you).
You're really beating a dead horse here. Ooh, dead horse reference....sorry BV!

Well it looks like I got my times wrong, so I do owe you an apology Dan ... I sincerely apologise.
And now that you mention it, I am into sadism, necrophilism and bestiality ... so I do actually enjoy flogging dead horses!
