Handsome Furs (aka Dan Boeckner of Wolf Parade and his fiancée Alexei Perry) are playing some shows. That includes two at Mercury Lounge and one at Maxwell's.

Their album Plague Park is out on Sub Pop on May 22nd. "Hate This City" (the MP3 above) is off that album. Not surprisingly (same voice), the song sounds like it could easily be by Wolf Parade (not a bad thing). Wolf Parade's other vocal half - Sunset Rubdown (also a good thing) - is touring in May too. can't the wolf parade just re-unite and make another kickk ass album? i mean yeah i have liked the side projects so far but spencer being in like three and dan in this band, WHERE IS HADJI?!?! fuckinhell

Hadji's also in Internet, the supergroup. Keep up with the times everybody, Boeckner says they want to record the next Wolf Parade album before the end of May. Good news!
