Jill Cunniff (Luscious Jackson) playing Southpaw, Carson Daly
Jill Cunniff (Luscious Jackson) did not play SXSW, but did play Mo Pitkins on March 8th. This Wednesday night she'll be on Carson Daly (April 4), and then she plays live at Southpaw in Brooklyn on Friday (April 6). No advanced tix. No other tour dates at the moment.

I saw her play a Surfrider benefit at Ditch Plains two weeks ago. Her new music reminded me of Lisa Loeb or one of those rock albums for kids. At least she wasn't jaded. She had a hard time getting the crowd to sit around her like they would at the beach but everyone joined in when she performed Naked Eye, which was the highlight of the set.
