Is that someone stagediving?

That is my alma mater!

even better live.

she doesn't really remind me of a bar band from Philly that sounds like Springsteen....

the crowd looks like they were forced to go. Like it was a class assignment or something.

I would kill to be there. She also needs to release a new record.

damn critic kids up front all like "prove it"
Posted by Anonymous | April 17, 2007 1:59 PM
why the hate for the crowd? it's a mirah show, it's not as if kids should be dancing and going nuts.

mirah is boring

No hate towards the crowd, just an amusing observation. I've been trying to keep from doing that at shows myself ever since I heard John Roderick refer to it as the "indie rock salute" (context: the Long Winters opening for The Decemberists). Whether you mean to or not, crossing your arms does paint you as overly critical and possibly bored.

it was really cold.
i swear.

Yeah, that girl in the front row has erect nipples.

I saw Mirah live once. She tried to auction off/sell a strap-on at the merch booth table that night. I don't know why.. but something about her pretty melodies combined with the image of that strap-on kind of turned me off
on several levels
