I got a GA floor ticket for the MSG show! I also want to get a ticket to the show at the PNC Bank Arts Center, but it looks like they're holding back the Orchestra Center seats during this presale (which ends April 22 at 10PM).

CRAP! My girlfriend is going to kill me... anyone have extras to GA? Looks like the presale is done.

yeah morrissey at the shitty sounding echo cavern known as msg
i think i will pass.
the theater would have been the better venue for this.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2007 12:02 PM

yeah, i'm afraid there will be a lot of empty seats at msg...much too big a venue for him...the theater would have been a much better choice.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2007 12:25 PM

Maybe his ego is too big for the Theater at MSG.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2007 12:32 PM

Clap Yer Hands Say Yeah = Overrated
Arcade Fire = Overrated
The Strokes = Overratted
Morrissey = God

^^ Being a douchebag who thinks Morrisey is God = Priceless

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2007 1:14 PM

The guy who thinks morrissey is god is probably one of those fey dopes who will be in the pit crying as the show is going on. Holding a bouquet of flowers trying to get on stage so he can hug his hero.
I think i saw this guy standing next to me at the grizzley bear show at bowery

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2007 1:23 PM

Maybe if he was touring with Modest Mouse - that could be interesting.

Posted by drewo | April 20, 2007 1:26 PM

ya know ebay should let people comment on each auction so you could stop pieces of crap like the guy above trying to sell his ga floor tickets for 400 dollars. He is trying to make people think that the entire ga pit and floor seats are totally sold out. Not everyone is smart to realize that only these seats for the presale are sold out. There will be more avail for the other sales

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2007 1:37 PM

nope..that wasn't me standing next to you at Grizzley Bear; whoever that band is..and yes I will be in the Pit for the show..No flowers in hand though..

oh so many haters haha

actually he puts on a fantastic show. saw him at SXSW last year and came away an even bigger fan

Posted by undisputed wes | April 20, 2007 1:52 PM

Hey 1:52, I think you missed the point of these posts. It's not that he doesnt put on a great show, it is the venue where he is planning to put on that said show. You said you saw him at sxsw. As i recall that was a rather small intimate venue where i am sure it was wonderful. I have seen him before at smaller places and agree he was awesome. I think people are saying that at the garden which is too big and has notriously horrible echo filled sound, the show will not be that good.
It is not hate when you are just telling it like it is.

"ANONYMOUS WROTE:

RENEGADE REPLIED:

No, that's not it at all -- he played Apollo the last time out, and the philistines in the house booed his opener, the mighty David Johansen.

But I digress...

this is a Greatest Hits tour, and that'll pack them in more in the Summer time, than his playing self-indulgent, esoteric woe-is-me material in theatres: as opposed to his playing self-indulgent, chart topping woe-is-me material in arenas and mid-size venues :)

Posted by rnrrenegade | April 22, 2007 4:20 PM

FYI..Morrissey is playing Letterman on June 25th.
