they have so many good jams. this new record along with the last one are both amazing pieces of work. great songwriting ability.

Frontman Finn Andrews is the son of onetime XTC keyboardist/Shreikback frontman Barry Andrews... they played Mercury Lounge like three years ago on their way to SXSW -- pretty good show. I'm not as taken with the new album as thier first, but I know a lot of people who disagree.

i saw Finn play a solo a few years ago, and he was just stunning. Cant wait for these shows. Check his cover of Tom Waits' Clap Hands from KEXP a few years ago:
