Why is Cartel plaing inside a stupid bubble? Are they retarded?

Dumbest gimmick ever!

Maybe we can push the bubble into the river and float them out to sea.

huh? in a bubble? I don't get it. Why?
Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2007 4:59 PM
Why? Probably because like anon 4:53 said, they are retarded.

But it says that they are going to be in that bubble for 20 days. that means they will still be there when Joan Jett plays. Right?

I saw a commercial for a new show on MTV called "Band In A Bubble" while waiting for The National over the weekend. Apparently, the band will live, rehearse, record and play in the bubble for a period of time.

oh yeah--we are so floating them out to sea! Love it!

ok, but we have to shove as many hipsters into that bubble as possible before we push it into the ocean.
Posted by Milt | May 22, 2007 5:11 PM
i don't know... hipsters plant their feet pretty firmly on the ground... you still think the bubble will move?
Posted by Anonymous | May 22, 2007 5:19 PM
why is this remotely interesting? Are there going to be sharks or pirannas inside the bubble with the band? at least that would be cool.
I agree with the suggestion to float this baby into the Atlantic.

your welcome for the schedule

On one hand, it's conceptually interesting - a lot of bands *do* live in a bubble, of their own influences, their own songs, their own kind - so maybe these wise guys are taking that concept more literally as a reflection of culture evolving around a band's life?
But I'll show up to try to help lift that damn bubble into the Hudson, oh yeah...

you people are so stupid. theyre in a bubble recording their new record. its called a "bubble" because everyone can see them if their there or at home on their computers with the 23 webcams. you get to see actually how a band makes a record and what goes into the process. its not a gimmeck. its a cool concept. so dont trash it if you dont even know what it is.
