"Like the auditory equivalent of an icy Nestea on a scorching August afternoon, too-cool-for-the-room NYC mope-rockers Interpol-- still set to issue Our Love to Admire July 10 on Capitol— are set to send temperatures plunging through the summer months." [Pitchfork]

My god, please don't make me trek out to AC to see you, Interpol.
The last time I saw them was at Across the Narrows two years ago. One of the most memorable sets I've seen - they were playing exactly as the sun was setting behind the stage.

whats with not playing NYC in such a long time???

It's the same job they did last year. They did nearly half the tour before unveiling the two Radio City dates. They're definitely going to make a big deal out of a New York show.

There was this friend of mine from NYU who I saw at a wedding after not seeing her for about 5 years. I told her about my plans to go to Coachella. She asked me who was playing and the first band I told her about was Interpol. She replied, "Oh, that's my brother's band". Her brother is the lead guitarist of Interpol, the Kessler guy. Try as I might, i still can't get over this story.
