He actually doesn't.. They changed some details so that people wouldn't find it "boring".. Instead of killing himself Ian now escapes to Mexico following a spectacular car chase sequence. There's also a zany subplot involving Peter Hook and Stephen Morris investigating the mysterious murder of a wealthy shipping magnate.

Ian Curtis is number 3 for which musicians I would bring back from the dead 1 Jim Morisson and 2 is Jimi Hendrix
