If tonight's show at highline runs like a typical hip-hop show it will end really, really late.

The Lou Reed show at Highline started and ended quite early and were ontime. It seems like the venue is pretty tight on that stuff. If you call them and check, they'll tell you start times. Also, don't trust the ticket if you want to see the opener. Okkervil River came on at 7:45 before Lou and the concert 'started' at 8!

Saw Dragonette open for New Order at the Hammerstein in 2005..Practically booed off the stage..One of the worst band's I've ever seen..Almost as bad as the Dirty Projectors!

Arctic Monkeys tonight were excellent, Be Your Own Pet was dreadful, much better recorded - need a lot of work live.

electrelane was awesome! my ears hurt.

also, they played blue straggler all the way through (i have a recorded live version from vera project in seattle where they cut out the spacey 2nd half of the song)
