What are you doing this weekend? Bright Eyes?

Bright Eyes & Gillian Welch kick off seven nights at Town Hall in NYC tonight. Lightning Bolt, Aa, and DMBQ are playing a Todd P show on Saturday. Sage Francis has two shows at Bowery. Handsome Furs are not playing Maxwell's. Les Breastfeeders are here. The Faint are playing Sunday night, and you might not have to work this Monday when Best New Music's The National kick off five nights at Bowery.
There will also be Memorial Day parades, services, Fleet Week, and a NY Philharmonic concert. What are you doing this weekend?

Bright Eyes and Comas suck balls. Sufjan Stevens tonite and WIllard Grant Conspiracy tomorrow night at Living Room. The National on Monday. Let the festivities begin.

Hahaha Anon 12:45pm-the bitter fuck who could not get into the show is back. What's funny is that I was not the one who posted above but hilarious you are still seething. Yes Sufjan is playing with the Castanets but apparently is also going to be playing some of his own songs as well. Enjoy the show those that were able to get in.

Friday's show was pretty cool - the Lou Reed surprise appearance was sweet. Jenny Lewis was in the crowd - I'm guessing she sing with the band during one of the shows.
