is this a co-headline gig or is Cat Power only playing an opening set?

i cant believe she beat Tom Waits "Orphans" that album was incredible but now knowing who were on the panel...I dont feel so bad
i mean since when is Panic At The Disco an authority on any (good) music

Its good to be recognized but these awards are kind of worthless...she's deserving as anyone else I suppose..especially because she's paid her dues...and rose up from her torrid past.
I doubt Tom Waits even knew he was nominated....
I think Cat Power is playing before Built To Spill but its a co-headline show...something like that...

Ha!
I was about to type, "she's hot, can uniquely interpret, but those peds are nasty and in dire need of a scrubbing: and then some."
If she requires a pedicurist, this gun's for hire :)

Seeing Cat Power Live = Waste of Money

Y's is the best album here, no contest.
Panic at the Disco as judges is pretty funny, though.

bumpershine obviously hasn't read about cat power shows in the past year and a half.

Anon, I've actually done a little more than read about Cat Power's live show in the past year and a half.

In the words of George W. Bush:

Awards in general mean very little but this one is a joke. There is not one persons opinion on the panel that I would want to hear. That being said, not a bad choice. (Although I would have picked Tom waits!) What exactly is the criteria for this award?

i'm hardly fond of 'the greatest' and would have much prefered regina spektor take the cake.

I could be wrong, but I thought the whole point of the Shortlist Prize was that the winner got some sweet $$$.

I like this pic. I love that her feet are dirty, she seems so wild and free. Shes a genuine genius.
