Can someone promise me they won't bore the shit out of me again?
Posted by Anonymous | June 26, 2007 4:01 PM
anon @ 4:01, i would suggest writing a strongly worded letter to the band. they are the only ones who can make that promise.

Dear BV:
After giving it some deep thought, and with the help of anon 3:44 I have decided to give you a break.
Your friend (again),

Good thing Anon 3:21. It is always a great moment when someone realizes they are a nitwit and tries to atone for it. Kudos to you, schmuck.

Gramercy is certainly a step down from Hammerstein. How did they play Hammerstein anyway? Did they even sell out the Bowery Ballroom show they played not too long ago?

Don't you know? Any band that you've heard of sucks? Are they playing for you and three friends in your brother's back yard... then maybe they're awesome. As soon as you get to the Bowery, or god forbid, the Hammerstein, you become CYHSTurd

guess people still like them - the show just sold out in about 5 seconds

My gift to the retards who bought the tickets to the show would be packets of NoDoz cause this band is so boring in concert. I suspect a majority of the tickets went to scalpers or guest list people.

the show at the merc this year was one of the best shows of the year thus far
Posted by Anonymous | June 29, 2007 12:42 PM
^^^^^^ hahahahaha laughing. Yeah hahahahaha.
Posted by Anonymous | June 29, 2007 12:50 PM
sorry they're too above your taste level.
Posted by Anonymous | June 29, 2007 1:09 PM
12:50 seems familiar to me.

Eh?

Most people I know who dislike this band really just dislike the fact that they are popular. Although they'll never admit it. I think some people should think twice before bashing a band that's accomplished so much without selling out or whoring themselves out. They've done quite a lot in the US on their own. But if you feel the need to talk shit, go ahead. Have a blast.

I tried to get tickets online at noon but got shut out.

There are tickets on sale for a Nov. 14 show at studio b on ticketweb. Just sayin.

Who's opening the show at Gramercy theater?

This band sucks because they are SO whiney. I mean, I thought Billy Corgan was a whine-hound? Well at least he had good themes, exciting guitar riffs and a superstar band to back him up. Mr. Whines-A-Lot here and his crew of mealy "musicians" wins the award on breaking wineglasses with his voice - which sounds like an overweight dying rat swallowing coarse sand. Typical yuppie / hipster fodder which will die out very soon.
