Joanna Newsom says Ra Ra Rabbit are her favorite new band - not Ra Ra Riot who are playing their first show post-tragedy at South Street Seaport on June 29th with Sam Champion.

it seems like just about anybody can form a band these days, and as long as they sing just off key...it's charming!
hey!
they've got lots of youthfull, feel-good energy! it's pro-active pop till ya plotz! and they have a kicky monicker like "here's a cat, there's a cat" or "wha-wha-whatever"! "it's all good!"
oops, i just vomited.

Get your head out of your arse Jason 331/3. They sound like a decent enough power-pop band. Not exactly sure why Ms. Newsom is enamoured with them but it's hardly vomit-worthy material.

Was lucky enough to see Ra Ra Rabbit play live in Grass Valley, California. They were great! Sylva's voice is engaging and the band chemistry made for a good time. Unique songs - a favorite was "Working so hard...." Hope they ARE working hard together so that we can hear more from this group.

i dont think she sings bad and doesnt sound like anybody else who sings.....i know she has a mental problem but that doesnt excuse her she is still bad!!!!sounds like a wierd pitch that i never heard of
