Mr. Oizo @ Studio B, Brooklyn, NYC - June 9, 2007 - (CRED)

His set evoked more than one collective "What the fuk???" from us. The Ed Banger crew simply makes and plays some ridiculous music. [lazyrobots]Kavinsky played the night before. Were they (Kavinsky and/or Oizo) good, or bad?

Kavinsky is just one guy. I dunno if I was just having a bad night, but he just wasn't doing it for me. I couldn't pinpoint what it was. He was playing a lot of good songs, something just wasn't clicking.

Sorry if it's not clear. By "they", I meant Oizo or Kavinsky.

I enjoyed the night. He's good but the only drawback is that his catalog is more predictable than the other fun DJs who preceded. Still, great to see live.

I think Oizo's an acquired taste.
If your familiar/like his style then you probably had a good time.
If not then i could understand not being able to enjoy it.
With that said I thought his set was great, real nice to hear patrick122 and flatbeat

Oh - when I said "he" I meant Kavinsky.

I must admit that I do like Ed Banger and the Rock-no sound, but honestly I think it has the staying power of a prostitute in my hotel room. It burns too bright to have any longevity.
