M WARD playing 'World Trade Center' + 2007 Tour Dates

First there was M & Bright Eyes. Then there was Bright Eyes & Norah. (then there was even Amy & Mick). And now the circle is complete...

Remember last year Cat Power, Jeff Tweedy, Ryan Adams and some other folks played some free shows in NYC? Well, it looks like this year they're doing it again - so far with M. Ward, Victoria Williams, and McCarthy Trenching on September 18th.

In other M. Ward news, he had to postpone his his Boston Pops gig which was supposed to happen in just a few days, he's reissuing his first record Duet For Guitars #2 on Merge (out July 10), and he's still on tour with Norah Jones....

Also, is that M. Ward whom I've been hearing on the Cadillac commercials (I don't mean the one with The Jam's 'Start')?

anyone know who does the version of M Ward's "to go home" that they played after the last Town Hall Bright Eyes show? it was like a sped up kids version that was sort of enjoyable. i only went one night so not sure if they played the other nights.
