NEKO CASE playing with New Porn on July 4th
Neko Case (and Kathryn) will in fact be in attendance (and on stage) at the free July 4th New Pornographers show at Battery Park in NYC. Info on getting tickets will appear on the River to River site on June 20th. Midlake (did you know they are huge in the UK?) is opening. New New Porn song HERE.
Neko ($300 richer, but without her corset) is also playing some shows of her own.

The corset wasn't Neko's. She more or less borrowed it from Victoria Renard, the photographer who took the various pictures of Neko wearing the corset, and gave it back after she lost some weight and the corset didn't fit anymore. Victoria Renard is the one who put it up on eBay, and she didn't get all of the $300 top bid because she promised to donate 10% to a greyhound rescue organization.

Underrated?
I love Neko and she has an amazing voice, but that is well known, and she is more like fairly rated (since she is acknowledged for actual talent had)

I think Christopher agrees that Neko has an amazing voice, but is implying that if she was actually fairly rated, she would be bigger than Kelly Clarkson.
