OH MY GOD!
What the fuck has happened to peoples taste? Vampire Weekend are terrible? That idiot from the NY Times fails to point out that the (afro beat) rhythms he mentions the band uses so originally are totally ripped out of the Tom Tom Club handbook.
The bar has been lowered to an all time low me thinks.

i really dont like cyhsy at all and hate alot of the "critically" loved bands out there, but i must say, i cant get enough of this vampire weekend. them and blitzen trapper are two of the best things ive stumbled upon this year.
