Is "Ra Ra Riot" opening both shows? Are they playing at all?

how in all that is holy fuck does this band keep selling out places in the city. I mean they play here so much. They are good but they are nothing that special. What the fuck is going on here?

They have a lot of family and friends.

They're actually awesome, that's why they sell out shows.
Also, every time I see them and in every photo the guy wears that same T-shirt. So maybe it has some kind of magic power of drawing crowds.

they keep getting more and more press, which probably brings in a new wave of people thinking they are the next big thing. in new york that translates into sold out shows, regardless of the merits of the band.

I hope these shows don't get moved to Webster freaking Hall.
